Shelf-ready stories beat longer decks
Why trade partners act faster when enablement materials fit a two-minute store conversation.
Field teams rarely get a quiet hour with a buyer. The materials that win are the ones that open in a folder, land on a counter, and make the next step obvious before the conversation ends.
A shelf-ready story pairs one claim, one proof, and one ask. When sell sheets follow that rhythm, distributors can cascade the same narrative without inventing a new pitch for every territory.
We recommend testing layouts against a real store visit: can a rep explain the offer while standing beside the fixture? If not, the sheet is still a brochure, not an enablement tool.
Tighten hierarchy, cut decorative claims, and leave space for handwritten notes. Trade marketing materials earn their keep when they survive the bag, the heat, and the aisle.
